Creative Gourmet History – An Obsession with Quality

Everyone at Creative Gourmet is driven by one obsession. The obsession to source and distribute the best quality frozen fruit and berries available. The only way we do this, is to search the world and bring back the picks of the crop to Australians. To ensure that you get the best, we snap-freeze our fruit immediately after picking, ensuring you perfect, highly nutritious fruit, year-round, straight from your freezer.

We started our obsession way back in 1982, when two Sydney food expert friends needed fruits year round. This wasn’t possible. They decided to source and supply the highest quality frozen fruits and berries to major restaurants, leading hotels and food services around Australia.

The fruits of their labours were so well received that in 1990, they created ‘Creative Gourmet’ becoming one of Australia’s favourite brands. In 2007, Creative Gourmet became part of the Patties Foods family of companies and we’re now proudly listed on the Australian Stock Exchange.

We’ve retained all our values and invested in the brand’s innovation and enhanced our product range. Our HEALTHY and EASY-TO-USE products have become firm favourites with Australian families. We now enjoy the largest market share in frozen fruits and berries nationally. We’ve moved on and become a bit bigger, but nothing much else has changed. We’re still obsessive about the quality of our fruits and berries.
