As Cranberries are a seasonal line they are only available at Christimas time and will only be available in ALDI stores on the Eastern Seaboard.

About the product /ingredients

Cranberries do need to be cooked before they can be eaten as the skins are tough and the fruit is quite sour. Our cranberries are natural and contain no sugar, additives or preservatives. They make great chutney, sauces, muffins and stuffings.

Although cranberries are related to blueberries they have quite a different flavour, they contain:

• Fibre, necessary for good gut function and development of healthy gut microflora.
• Vitamin C, which has vital protective antioxidant properties, as well as being required for many specific everyday functions.   
• Active antioxidants, as measured by TEAC method, which will combat the destructive free radicals generated by the body every day that cause ageing and health degeneration.
