Cranberry and Orange Sauce

Recipe Serves 2 cups


Top Tips

Always sweeten Cranberries after they are cooked. If you add sugar while cooking the skins will toughen. 

Ingredients

1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1 x 300g box Creative Gourmet frozen Cranberries
caster sugar or honey, to taste

Instructions

  1. Place juice and frozen Cranberries into a saucepan. Bring to the boil, reduce heat and simmer until berries ‘burst’ and soften. The more pulpy the cranberries become the thicker the sauce. Sweeten to taste with caster sugar or honey and serve with roast turkey, chicken, pork or ham.
