Raspberries with Brown Sugar Star Pastries

Recipe Serves 4

Ingredients

300g Creative Gourmet frozen Raspberries
2 tbs icing sugar
1 sheet Pampas frozen ready rolled sweet puff pastry
2 tbs brown sugar
Whipped cream or vanilla ice-cream, to serve

Instructions

  1. Place frozen raspberries into a shallow dish. Sprinkle with icing sugar, toss to comvine and set aside until almost defrosted.
  2. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 200ºC. Place pastry sheet on a board to partially defrost. Using a 5cm star-cutter, cut 16 stars from pastry. Place stars onto a baking tray lined with baking paper. Lightly brush with water and sprinkle with brown sugar. Bake for 10 minutes or until puffed and golden. Set aside to cool slightly.
  3. Arrange pastry stars on serving plates. Top with whipped cream or ice-cream and raspberries and serve.
